“My name is Ergorn Thrage and I have watched humans for hundreds of years. Can you tell me why you destroy everything that you touch? Your villages spread by cutting and burning the forests around you to make new fields. You saw and split trees to make places to live and boats for sailing. You hunt the animals we care for with abandon, not just for food, but for ‘sport’ hanging their heads on your walls and their skins on your floors. You come in search of the old trees and bring them down. Dragging their bodies off to sell for gold. The new trees do not have the wisdom needed to keep us and our forests safe. I am afraid that one day the wanton destruction and greed of humans will lead to the end of the wood elves.”
